    As a Sopris Solution Architect, you will be responsible for participating in all phases of the project life cycle to achieve a successful project delivery. You will be expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and deliver consulting excellence. Your primary objective will be to deliver successful projects and keep high customer satisfaction.

    Essential Job Functions

    Project Delivery – 65%

    Participate in business process and requirements workshops and ensure accuracy and completeness of requirements documentation produced by the team
    Provide ongoing management of requirements specifications and alignment with project scope
    Identify solution components and overall solution architecture to meet project requirements, to include primarily Microsoft Dynamics 365 components and third-party products where necessary
    Establish, document, and communicate architecture and design vision, and obtain feedback from the project team to optimize and refine
    Manage solution implementation through all project phases to ensure alignment with agreed design and architecture, requirements, and project scope.
    Develop solutions and direct project team on specific build/configuration tasks as necessary to ensure productive delivery
    Prototype complex requirements as needed.
    Pre-Sales and Marketing Support – 15%

    Participate in pre-sales engagements to identify capability needs and specific requirements
    Identify solution components and overall solution architecture to meet project requirements, to include primarily Microsoft Dynamics 365 components and third-party products where necessary
    Manage sales engineering efforts and demo preparation activities
    Participate in and occasionally give product demos
    Support marketing efforts by participating in and/or managing
    Product Development and Marketing Support – 10%

    Work with Sales and Delivery teams to identify and document common industry needs
    Identify and document repeatable solution design patterns to meet common project and industry needs
    Identify, document, and manage repository of reusable solution components
    Support internal projects directed at creating reusable solution components or product solution templates
    Support marketing efforts to develop and present webinars and product vignettes
    Operations Support – 10%

    Identify areas of improvement in delivery processes and templates
    Provide feedback to PMO and Service Delivery team leadership to support continuous improvement
    Travel Requirements

    Dependent upon project assignments, ~25% travel may be required.

    No international travel is expected.

    Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

    BA/BS degree
    Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics, preferably serving professional services clients with project-driven scenarios
    Strong focus on quality and client satisfaction
    Minimum 2 years in project management and/or delivery team leadership
    Comfortable leading small implementation teams
    Exceptional requirements elicitation and management skills, including both functional and non-functional requirements (i.e., usability/UX, performance, scalability, etc.)
    Expert product knowledge in all modules of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement: Sales and Marketing, Field Service, Customer Service, and Project Service
    Strong product knowledge of the following:
    Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
    Power Apps
    Power BI
    Microsoft Flow
    Common Data Service
    Dynamics 365 Field Service Mobile (Resco)
    Fundamental understanding of the follow products:
    Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
    Dynamics 365 for Talent
    Solid understanding of the following concepts
    Relational databases and database design and modeling
    Systems integrations, web services, APIs
    Data integrations, including base understanding of available data integration tools
    Business process engineering/optimization and modeling
    Data migrations, data mapping, and data transformation
    Alert and notification messaging, including base understanding of available communication tools
    Requirements traceability: from capability need through delivery and support
    Value of complete, accurate, and continuously maintained specifications
    Very strong understanding of change management concepts, scope management, and requirements management
    Excellent oral and written presentation skills. Comfortable leading discussions and giving presentations to all levels of client personnel, from end users up to C-level
    Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
    High self-motivation, resourcefulness, personal accountability, and a strong desire to see the team succeed
